The reeds glow in the golden light of the early morning. Around, the metallic gray of dawn still resists, ephemeral. A pool of water surrounds the slender trunk of a young tree, where the small ballast rises to become the path, cut in the furrows of the walkway by a long strip of grass. A flock of lapwings passes floating in its soft hesitations.

The beauty of wetlands in one click: within the celebrations of the World Wetlands Day 2020, the MEDSEA Foundation promotes the photography contest "24 hours to portray the biodiversity of the 6 Ramsar sites in the Gulf of Oristano".
Marco Pili's atelier is a white parallelepiped lying on the quiet outskirts of Nurachi. Three segments of simple green curtain shut the first room from the street glance. Dozens of canvases rest on the wall and the totems dedicated to is launeddas stand like people waiting at the bus stop. On a brown iron arch bells hang that ring if touched by the wind. Between this section, and the identical and subsequent, two large windows enclose a rectangle of uncovered gravel that houses dry spots of color and a solitary cactus.
The small off-road vehicle enters the track that runs along the banks of the Mistras lagune. Reeds, willows, bushes and a shady tunnel of pines parade through the window. Then the passage opens into the body of water, lightly blurred by the mistral wind. The pink multitude of flamingos helps to underpin the illusion of immobility. The hide is interrupted by the passage of the osprey, which crosses the cold blue of January flying past the first and second roost.
A virtuous Sardinia emerges from the Ecoforum organized by Legambiente Sardinia on the circular economy. Two nourished round tables gathered on Thursday 12 December in the lecture hall of the "Michele Giua" Institute in Cagliari, to sum up the state of the art in the waste management system, and the spontaneous excellences of the territory in terms of circular economy.
Many relevant experiences have gathered to respond to climate change in Sardinia. On Friday 6 December, Solarussa, a town in the Oristano region violently hit by a flood in 2013, hosted the "Dissemination Workshop" which put together representatives of four “Interreg projects”, the plan funded by the European Cross-border Regional Development Fund.

Some listen to the biological cycle of artemia salina, imagining the crustacean’s evolutionary states in the small basin.

"Until a few days ago the sun was beating hard, triggering the nebulizers. The cows begin to suffer at 19 degrees. I think we had 26. Can you imagine that in November? In half a century the climate has changed so much". Luigi Nuvoli proudly observes the 150 cows of his company.

All sorts of infrastructure is missing here. We still work with the wells, because the irrigation water from the reclamation consortium does not reach us
