    The Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 14), which met in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, closed on 29 November. The meeting, which was attended by delegates from the 196 Parties to the Convention, as well as representatives of civil society, the private sector, indigenous peoples, local communities and young people, focused on "Investing in Biodiversity for People and the Planet".
