    “Terre d’acqua”: school competion about wetlands on the occasion of WWD21.

    To celebrate the World Wetlands Day 2021, the MEDSEA Foundation (http://www.medseafoundation.orgorganizes the competition "Terre d'Acqua" imagine the wetlands’ future dedicated to the secondary schools of the municipalities involved in the Maristanis project, towards the integrated management of wetlands and protection of environmental and cultural heritage, which include: ArboreaArbusCabrasGuspiniNurachiOristano, Palmas ArboreaRiola Sardo, San Vero Milis, Santa Giusta, and Terralba. 

     

    With the aim of promoting a path of education and awareness on the issues of water saving, water quality, and sustainable use of wetlands, the students can participate with their original work, coordinated by the class teachereither in artistic representation (drawing) with a slogan on the wetlands of the "future" or in the narrative of a story (in short form, maximum 8000 characters), whose incipit is indicated in the contest rules. The winning classes will be awarded with an educational kit on Wetlands composed of digital and paper materials, while all participating classes will receive the MEDSEA certificate as ambassadors of Wetlands. Each school can participate with more than one class. Each class can participate with a maximum of ten works, under the guidance and coordination of the teaching staff.

    send your works by 26th February, 2021.
